1、FORD MANUFACTUEING STANDARDS SBl-28 100% EEVLAE KNIT OUTER SHELL DECEMBER 1991 WITH 100% COTTON INNEE LINEE SBl-28 Page 1 1. USAGE: These gloves are designed for use by employees requireing a greater degree of cut and laceration protection needing a form fit and additional cusioning against impact c

2、ontacts to the hand. The use of these gloves must be approved by the Safety Unit. 2. HA- The glove body outer shell is to be Mt of 1 end of 17/4 and 2 ends of 14/Z 100% pure uublended and unadulterated Kevlar yarn. The glove body inner liner is to be knit if 2 en and reinforcement over thumb and ind

3、ex finger shall be 2 ends of 24/4 Kevlar yarn. 3. SIZE: Sizing shall beas follows: 11-l/2 inches (292mm) from tip of middle finger to glove base. Width of the palm shall be 4-l/2 inches (11411) at the thumb crotch. Width of the wrist shall be 4 inches (102mm). Glove shall have 2-l/4 inch (57rom) fla

4、red cuff 5-l/2 inches (14Om1) wide at the glove base. 4. CONSTEUCTION: Gloves are to be produced seamless, reversible style with cinched wrist incozporated on a knitting machine. Enited cotton liner is inserted in the Kevlar outer shell and bar-tacked at each finger and thumb aud further attached at

5、 the glove base with Kevlar overcasting. In&x finger and thumb are to be overcast with special wear resistant ridge. Palm area is to be coated with PVC (polyvinyl chloride) applied in a vertical line pattern. PVC lines are to be 5mm wide (+/- lmm) and extend from p& base to finger tips. 5. WEIGHT OF

6、 EACH GLOVE: 73.6 grams per glove. 6. RECLAIMING: These gloves shall be impervious tc prop.er laundering procedures over a prudent recycling span, It is recommended that these gloves not be patched. 7. MANUFACTURERS RESPONSIBILITY: All materials supplied to this standard must be equivalent in all characteristics to the material upon which approval was originally granted and shall be satisfactory for the intended application.
