USAGE: Safety department approvai is required for usage of this hand pad. 2. 2.1 MATERIAL: Terry cloth produced from cotton yard of minimum middling 1916 inch (23.711) ttapit weighing 32 ounces per square

2、yard. 2.2 2.3 The thread shall be of 24/4 Salt quaiity. Haterial entering into the manufacture of this pad must be of such . qua1 ity as to produce a pad which wi 1 I be impervious to normal dry cleaning and laundering. 39 SIZE - HINIMMS: Length from the open top end to the base 7-l/4 inches (1841mn

3、). Palm w,idth at thumb crotch 5-l/2, inches (13&n). Length of thumb shall be 3 i nches (761s) f mm crotch to thumb tip. 4. CONSTRUCTION: Reversible, inseam thumb, outseam pad body, loop side out and finished three sides with overcast stitching. All seams shall be sewn 8 stitches per inch. 5. SUPPLI

4、ERS RESPONSIBILITY: All material suppi icd to this standard must be equivaient in ail characteristics to the material upon which approval was originally granted, and shall be satisfactory for the intended application. 6. APPROVAL OF NEW SUPPLERS: 6.1 Pricing of gloves from proposed new suppliers sho

5、uld be determined to be cost competitive by Purchasing and Supply Staff prior to obtaining laboratory and shop trail approvals. After the product has been determined to be cost competitive, gloves submitted by new manufacturers to this standard and concluded to be cost compet i t i.ve must have labo

6、ratory and shop trial approva.ls. “Recommendations for the addition of new- manufacturers to the Aanufactur i,ng Approved Source List (ASL) must be made by the appropriate division standards activity in writing to the Plant Engineering Office. Al I supporting data must accompany the.writtcn request. 6.2 The Plant Engineering Office, Aanufacturing Staff, and the Environmental Health and Safety Manager, Employee Relations Staff, will review requests to determine approval.
