2、ES Application This procedure is used to test the shear adhesion of self - adhesive polycarbonate instrument dial appliqus to a polycarbonate substrate. 3、eel Roller As described in ASTM D 1000, para 40.3. Test Panels Molded flat polycarbonate sheet material conforming to WSK - M4D761 - A as shown in Figure 1. Test Samples Adhesive backed polycarbonate film according to the material specification cut to the size shown in Figure 1 and thickness as show

Conditioning and Test Conditions All test values indicated herein are based on material conditioned in a controlled atmosphere of 23 +/ - 2 C and 50 +/ - 5 % relative humidity for not le
5、ss than 24 h prior to testing and tested under the same conditions unless otherwise specified. Preparation of Test Specimens 1. Degrease five test panels for each aging condition by rubbing with a clean lint - free cloth soaked in either industrial methylated spirit solvent. Allow to dry thoroughly.
6、 2. Carefully peel back 30 mm of the release paper on the back of the polycarbonate film and position the exposed adhesive to produce a lap joint as shown in Figure 1.
