35、gulators are used to reduce the high cylinder pressure to a lowerpressure suitable for use. These functions cover a wide range of inlet and outlet pressures and flowswhich require specific designcharacteristics. It is important that the operating characteristics of these valves be specified and test

36、ed in adefined manner. Such valves are more complicated than conventional cylinder valvesyet subject to the same environmental and transportation conditions. These conditions should be borne in mind at the design and development stage. ThisInternational Standardpays particular attention to suitabili
