4、designed to requirements of MIL-DTL-24308 and NASA 311P except using one piece aluminum shell and grounding detents. Connectors are available with rear grommets for wire stabilization. 1.2 Part or Identifying Number (PIN). The complete PIN shall be as specified on the item requirements drawing and c

The individual item requirements shall be in accordance with MIL-DTL-24308 and GSFC-S-311-P-4 except as specified in the requirements dr

20、awing and herein. In case of conflict between this drawing and the requirements drawing, the latter shall govern. 3.2 Design, construction and physical dimensions. The design, construction and physical dimensions shall be as specified in MIL-DTL-24308, except as specified herein and in the requireme

21、nts drawing (see 3.1). 3.2.1 Design documentation. The design documentation shall be in accordance to MIL-DTL-24308 and GSFC-S-311-P-4, and the associated requirements drawings and, unless specified in the acquisition document, shall be retained by the manufacturer, but be available for review by th

22、e contracting activity or contractor upon request. 3.2.2 Material and plating. All material and plating shall be in accordance with MIL-DTL-24308 and GSFC-S-311-P-4 unless otherwise specified. 3.2.2.1 Shell material and underplating. Shell material and underplating shall be Aluminum alloy, temper T-

23、6 shall be in accordance with ASTM B211. 3.2.2.2 Shell finish. Classes N and S connector shells shall have gold finish only. 3.3 Electrical performance characteristics. The electrical performance characteristics shall be in accordance with MIL-DTL-24308, and the requirements drawing, (see 3.1) and a

24、pply over the entire operating temperature range, unless otherwise specified. 3.4 Marking. Marking shall be manufacturers name or CAGE code, manufacturers PIN and date code. 3.5 Quality assurance requirements. Connectors furnished under this drawing shall be certified by the manufacturer to meet the

25、 requirements of MIL-DTL-24308 and the quality conformance inspection as specified herein. 3.6 Environmental and mechanical performance characteristics. The environmental and mechanical performance characteristics shall be in accordance with MIL-DTL-24308 and GSFC-S-311-P-4 and the item requirements

26、 drawing (see 3.1). 3.7 Qualifications. Qualification inspection for connectors specified herein shall not be required. 3.7.1 Quality conformance inspection. The quality conformance inspection shall be in accordance with MIL-DTL-24308 and 4.2 herein. 3.8 Manufacturer eligibility. To be eligible to s

27、upply connectors to this drawing, a manufacturer shall have submitted and had accepted a manufacturers certificate of compliance (see 3.9). 3.9 Certificate of compliance. A certificate of compliance shall be required from a manufacturer in order to be listed as an approved source of supply (see 3.1)

28、. The certificate of compliance submitted to DSCC-VAI to attain an eligible manufacturer status (see 3.8) shall state that the manufacturers product shall be in accordance with the requirements of MIL-DTL-24308 and GSFC-S-311-P-4 and the item requirements drawing (see 3.1 and 6.6). 4. Verification.

29、4.1 Qualification inspection. Qualification inspection for connectors specified herein shall not be required. 30、 REVA PAGE5 4.2 Quality conformance inspection. Quality conformance inspection shall be performed on sample units produced with equipment and procedures normally used in production. Manufacturers shall keep lot records for 3 years (minimum). Monitor for compliance to the prescribed procedures, and o

31、bserve that satisfactory manufacturing conditions and records on lots are maintained for these connectors. The records, include as a minimum, an attributes summary of all quality conformance inspections conducted on each lot, shall be available for review by customers at all times. 4.3 Group A inspe

32、ction. Group A inspection shall be in accordance with MIL-DTL-24308 and GSFC-S-311-P-4 with values specified in MIL-DTL-24308 and the item requirements drawing, as applicable. 4.3.1 Sampling plan (group A). Sampling plan for group A inspection shall be in accordance with the group A sampling plan of

33、 MIL-DTL-24308. 5. Packaging. 5.1 Packaging requirements. The requirements for packaging shall be in accordance with MIL-DTL-24308. 6. Notes. 6.1 Intended use. Connectors conforming to this drawing are intended for use when military specifications do not exist and qualified military connectors that

34、will perform the required function are not available for original equipment manufacturer application. This drawing is intended exclusively to prevent the proliferation of unnecessary duplicate specifications, drawings and stock catalog listings. When a military specification exists and the product c

35、overed by this drawing has been qualified to listing on Qualified Products List, (QPL)-24308; this drawing will be inactivated and will not be used for new design. The QPL-24308 product shall be the preferred item for all applications. 6.2 Ordering data. The acquisition document should specify the f

36、ollowing: a. Complete PIN (see 1.2). b. Requirements for packaging and packing (see 5.1). c. Requirements for assembly and assembly tools (see 3.1). 6.3 Replaceability. Replaceability is determined as follows: a. Connectors covered by this drawing will replace the same generic connectors covered by

37、a contractor-prepared specification or drawing. b. When a QPL source is established, the part numbered connector specified in the requirements drawing will be replaced by the connector in the requirements drawing supersession table. 6.4 Generic test data. Generic test data may be used to satisfy the

38、 requirements of 4.3. Generic test data shall be on data codes no more than 1 year old, with the same material, design, and manufacturing process. The vendor is required to retain the generic data for a period of not less than 3 years from the date of shipment. 6.5 Comments. Comments on this drawing
