4、2012. National foreword This standard includes safety requirements. This standard has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 161 “Foot and leg protectors” (Secretariat: BSI, United Kingdom). The responsible German body involved in its preparation was the Normenausschuss Persnliche Schutz-ausrst
5、ung (Personal Protective Equipment Standards Committee), Working Committee NA 075-04-01 AA Fu- und Beinschutz. Amendments This standard differs from DIN EN 15090:2006-10 and DIN EN 15090 Corrigendum 1:2007-07 as follows: a) slip resistance has been added (reference to EN ISO 20345, 5.3.5); b) the ty
6、pes of footwear for firefighters (4.3) have been changed in accordance with the risks; c) the requirements and the test method for radiant heat (6.3.2 and 7.2) have been changed; d) the requirements for resistance to chemicals (6.5) have been slightly changed; e) the requirements for high electrical
7、 resistance outsoles (6.6.4 in the old version) and the associated marking symbols in Table 9 have been removed; f) Annex B (normative) has been restructured. The criteria for the assessment of the condition of footwear have been listed separately: “Insulation against heat“, “Radiant heat” and “Flam
8、e resistance”; g) Annex D “Testing of laces” has been deleted.
