Foreword This part of DIN 6650 contains safety requirements. This part of DIN 6650 has been prepared by Joint Worki
6、ng Committee NA 012-00-04 GA Gemeinschafts-arbeitsausschuss FNCA/NAL: Getrnkeschankanlagen of the Normenausschuss Chemischer Apparatebau (FNCA) (Process Engineering Standards Committee) and the Normenausschuss Lebensmittel und landwirtschaftliche Produkte (NAL) (Food and Agricultural Products Standa
7、rds Committee). In NAL the standardization work was coordinated within Working Committee NA 057-02-01 AA Lebensmittelhygiene. This part of DIN 6650 was prepared in cooperation with the study group Getrnkeschankanlagen of the Berufsgenossenschaft Nahrungsmittel und Gaststtten (Food and Restaurant Emp
8、loyers Liability Insurance Association) as well as the Deutscher Verein des Gas- und Wasserfaches e.V. (German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water). Point of use water coolers for the dispensing of drinking water, in their conventional form (i.e. integrated as post-mix systems in
9、bar counters) have always been deemed beverage dispensing systems according to the terminology of the (repealed) Getrnkeschankanlagenverordnung (German Beverage Dispensing Systems Ordinance). In the course of the harmonization of the legal regulations and once the Betriebssicherheitsverordnung (Germ
10、an Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health) came into effect, it became necessary to once again modify provisions to reflect the state of the art, this time in the Technische Regeln fr Betriebssicherheit (German Technical Rules for Industrial Safety) (TRBS) and new German Standards, including the
11、DIN 6650 standards series. At the same time, the requirements of the Trinkwasserverordnung (German Drinking Water Ordinance) had to be considered. This part of DIN 6650 takes into account the systems that are now increasingly designed as individual systems and no longer as point of use cooler system
12、s integrated in bar counters for the dispensing of water. Insofar as there are common grounds with the Drinking Water Ordinance, reference is made to DVGW W 516, which enables product certification as defined by the Drinking Water Ordinance, if applicable. 14、 7: Hygiene requirements for the installation of beverage dispense systems Part 8: Requirements for point of use water coolers Part 9: Water coolers DIN 6650-8:2009-12 4 1 Scope This part of DIN 6650 specifies technical and hygienic requirements for point of use water coolers (water dispensers) for
15、the dispensing of water with and without the addition of syrup. This comprises the requirements for the technical nature and operation of beverage dispensing systems for the dispensing of water and beverages as foodstuffs. These requirements are specified to take into account all risk factors known
16、to date. This part of DIN 6650 does not apply to product certification as defined by the Drinking Water Ordinance (TrinkwV).
