9、rldwide federation of national standards bodies (ISO member bodies). The work of preparing International Standards is normally carried out through ISO technical committees. Each member body interested in a subject for which a technical committee has been established has the right to be represented o
10、n that committee. International organizations, governmental and non-governmental, in liaison with ISO, also take part in the work. ISO collaborates closely with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) on all matters of electrotechnical standardization. Draft International Standards adopt

13、ort form for the collection of data in accidents with children under the age of13 in motor vehicles. The aim of this standardized form is to provide a simple format for reporting road accidents where children are involved. Severe accidents where children have been sitting in a child restraint system
14、 are rare. Therefore, the format has been designed in a way that it should be possible to use in all countries, although the design of child restraint systems varies, in order to simplify the exchange of data. The coding used in this form is based on ISO6813, ISO12353-1, AIS manual from AAAM (Associ
15、ation for the advancement of automotive medicine) and SAE J224 (CDC-coding). 2 Normative references The following standards contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this International Standard.
