The UK participation in its preparation was entrusted by Technical Committee GEL/65, Measurement and control, to Subcommittee GEL/65/2, Elements of systems, which has the responsibility to: aid enquirers to understand

4、 the text; present to the responsible international/European committee any enquiries on the interpretation, or proposals for change, and keep the UK interests informed; monitor related international and European developments and promulgate them in the UK. 5、subcommittee can be obtained on request to its secretary. From1January1997, all IEC publications have the number60000added to the old number. For instance, IEC27-1has been renumbered as IEC60027-1. For a period of time during the change over from one numbering system to the other, publications may c

The purpose of this standard is to aid users in their piping design by providing normalized dimensions of buttweld end control valves. 2 Normative reference The following normative document contains provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this par

IEC 60534-1:1987, Industrial-process control valves Part1: Control valve terminology and general considerations. 3 Definitions For the purpose of this part of IEC60534, the definitions of IEC60534-1apply as w

25、ell as the following definition: 3.1 end-to-end dimensions distance between the faces of the connecting ends 4 Nominal sizes and pressure ratings 4.1 Nominal sizes Nominal sizes shall be as shown in Table 1. 4.2 Pressure ratings Pressure ratings shall be grouped as shown in Table 1. 5 End-to-end dim

26、ensions 5.1 End-to-end dimensions shall be taken from Table 1. 5.2 Pressure ratings have been grouped as shown in Table 1 in order to restrict the number of end-to-end dimensions. 5.3 The dimensions listed in Table 1 (designatedgroup1) comply with general applications of existing manufacturers lengt

27、hs. 5.4 The dimensions of Table 1 (designated group2) are intended to be used when internal parts of control valves require protection against overheating produced by in-line welding or heat treatment. 6 Tolerances Tolerances on end-to-end dimensions shall be as shown in Table 1.
