In the absence of a standard method of test suitable for assessing the susceptibility of the products to the propagation of smouldering from ignition sources either above or within the material, a new procedure has been developed. This Part of this standard describes two tests: a) a flammability

The results obtained from the tests will a

Results cannot be directly extrapolated in an attempt to predict the behaviour of loft insulating materials with other ignition sources.
