Classification4.1 GeneralPipe meeting this specification is classified bytype, grade, class, and hydrostatic design basis in accordancewith Classification D 2310, and by a secondary cell classifica-tion system that defines the basic mechanical properties of thepipe. These types, grades, classe

Pipemeeting this specification may be classified using either thecyclic test method or the static test method, or both, and thedesignations are shown in Table 1. Appendix X1 explains howto use the
