Chemical Composition5.1 The material shall conform to the requirements as tochemical composition prescribed in Table 2.5.2 If a product (check) analysis is performed by thepurchaser, the material shall conform to the product (check)analysis variations prescribed in Specific

Heat Treatment6.1 Material of N06674 shall be solution annealed aftercold-working or hot-working by heating to 2150F (1175C)minimum, followed by quenching in water or rapidly coolingby other means.7. Mechanical Properties and Other Requirements7.1 Mechanical PropertiesThe material shal

23、l conform tothe mechanical properties prescribed in Table 3.7.2 Deep Drawing and Spinning Quality Sheet and StripThe material shall conform to the grain size and hardnessrequirements as prescribed in Table 4.7.2.1 The mechanical properties of Table 3 do not apply todeep drawing and spinning quality

24、sheet and strip.7.3 Grain SizeExcept as prescribed in 7.2, the grain sizefor N06674 shall be 7 or coarser, as determined in accordancewith Test Methods E112.8. (3.2 mm) over thespecified length shall be permitted.8.3.2 Permissible variations in length of rectangular plateshall be as prescribed in Table 11.8.4 Straightness:8.4.1 The edgewise curvature (depth of chord) of flat sheet,strip, and plate shall not exc

44、eed 0.05 in. multiplied by thelength in feet (0.04 mm multiplied by the length in centime-tres).8.4.2 Straightness for coiled material is subject to agree-ment between the manufacturer and the purchaser.8.5 Edges:8.5.1 When finished edges of strip are specified in thecontract or order, the following

45、 descriptions shall apply:8.5.1.1 Square-edge strip shall be supplied with finishededges, with sharp, square corners, without bevel or rounding.8.5.1.2 Round-edge strip shall be supplied with finishededges, semicircular in form, the diameter of the circle formingthe edge being equal to the strip thi

46、ckness.8.5.1.3 When no description of any required form of stripedge is given, it shall be understood that edges such as thoseresulting from slitting or shearing will be acceptable.8.5.1.4 Sheet shall have sheared or slit edges.8.5.1.5 Plate shall have sheared or cut (machined, abrasive-cut, powder-
