SCOPE 1.1 This specificat

QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS 4.1 Xesponsibility for inspection.- Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requir

PREPARATION FOR DELIVERY 5.1 Packaging.- Packaging shall be level A or C, as specified (see 6.2). * 5

29、.1.1 Level A.- The release knives on each release line shall be completely wrapped with barrier material conforming to type II, grade A, class 1 or 2 of MIL-B-121. The wrap shall extend onto the webbing and be secured with 1-inch minimum width tape conforming to PPP-T-76. tightly coiled and securely

30、 tied in not less than two places with twine con- forming to type i or II, 8-ply of T-T-871. components of the tie down assembly shall be tightly coiled or folded and individually secured with the specified twine and then be placed on top of the. coiled release line with edges contacting. 31、te tie down assembly shall be packaged in a snug-fitting fiberboard box conforming to style FOL (end-opening) , grade F16c of PPP-B-636. tape in accordance with the appendix of PPP-B-636. 32、.- Each tiedown assembly shall be packaged to afford adequate protection against physical damage during shipment from the supply source to the first receiving activity. The supplier may use his standard practice when it meets this requirement. 5.2 Packing.- Packing shall be level A, By or C, as spec

33、ified (see 6.2). 5.2.1 Level A.- Four tiedown assemblies, packaged as specified in 5.1, shall be packed in a snug-fitting shipping container coniomng to style RSC, grade V2s of PPP-E-636; or overseas type, style A or J, type 2 load of PPP-B-601, as specified (see 6.2). Each shipping coritainer shall

34、 be closed and reinforced in accordance with the appendix of the applicable container specification. 5.2.2 Level B.- Four tiedown assemblies, packaged as specified in 5.1, , shall be packed in a snug-fitting fiberboard shipping container conforming to 7 Licensed by Information Handling ServicesMIL-T

36、 a grade VC, VS, or V4s fiberboard box fabricated in accordance with PPP-B-636 and closed in accordance with the appendix of the container specification. 5.2.3 Level C.- Tiedown assemblies, packaged as specified in 5.1, shall . be packed in a manner to insure carrier acceptance and safe delivery at

37、destination at the lowest transportation rate for such supplies. Containers shall be in accordance with Uniform Freight Classification Rules or National Motor Freight Clacsif ication Rules, as applicable. 5.3 Pal1etization.- Unless otherwise specified (see 5.2), tiedawn assem- Each prepared load sha
