11、 It was de-veloped and is maintained by Automotive Glass Replacement Safety StandardsCouncil, Inc. (AGRSS), an Illinois not-for-profit corporation.This is a consensus standard under continuous maintenance by the committee meth-od. Input from all interested parties is solicited. AGRSS schedules quart
12、erly meet-ings to consider all requests for revision. Requests for revision should be addressedto AGRSS Secretariat, 800 Roosevelt Road, Building C-20, Glen Ellyn, IL 60137.AGRSS has registered this Standard with ANSI under the continuous maintenanceoption, Clause 4.4.2 of the ANSI Procedures for th

17、le Assessment before Replacement Those engaged in automotive glass replacement shall not undertake or complete such installation when any related condition would compromise the retention system and the owner/operator shall be so notified. 5 Selection of Glass and Retention Systems Those engaged in a
18、utomotive glass replacement shall use retention systems that are produced under documented quality assurance standards. Those engaged in automotive glass replacement shall use glass products meeting the requirements of ANSI Z26.1 as required by Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 205. ANSI/AGRSS 0
19、02-20023 Those engaged in automotive glass replacement shall use either an OEM-approved retention system or equivalent retention system as certified in writing by the equivalent retention system manufacturer directly or through a private labeler. Those engaged in automotive glass replacement shall o
20、btain and follow written comprehensive and current application instructions from the retention systems manufacturer or private labeler. These instructions shall include at least the proper use of the retention system storage specifications, minimum drive-away time charts containing temperature and h
