National bodies that are members of ISO o

Each of th

32、ese symbols is intended to be considered as universal and non- language related equivalent of names for the function they represent. 39、 the allocation of a function, listed in Table 1, to a key is indicated on the keytop, the indication shall be by one of: the corresponding symbol, the function name or an abbreviation of it, an equivalent function name in another language, or an abbreviation of it. This clause gives descriptions of

40、 functions with their names in English and French. To be in accordance with the registration made in ISO 7000, function names presented here implicitly contain the prefix “Keyboard” in English and the suffix “clavier” in French, when applicable. Although the symbols defined by this part of ISO/IEC 9

41、995 may be used by keyboards for other writing systems as appropriate, the specifications are written as applying to Latin-alphabet languages with a character path from left to right and a line progression from top to bottom. The descriptions given in the English and French language in the last two

42、columns labelled “Description” of Table 1 are not part of ISO/IEC 9995, they are presented here only for information. The symbols shown in Table 1 shall be reproduced on the equipment in the orientation shown in the table. They have the associated meaning only if they are used in the orientation giv

43、en in the table. Most of the symbols described in this part of ISO/IEC 9995 are also coded as characters in the universal character set defined in ISO/IEC 10646. 5 Description des fonctions Chaque fois que lune des fonctions, numres dans le Tableau 1, est mentionne sur une touche, elle doit ltre lai
