10、lated as shown in the following formula : MUT A, = MUT + MDT where MUT is the mean up time (3.6.3); MDT is the mean down time (3.6.8). 3.2.6 storage-ability: Property of an item which preserves its reliability, life and serviceability during its storage or shipping. 3.3 Reliability terms 3.3.1 relia
11、bility: Proabilitythatan item will perform a required function under stated conditions for a stated period of time. 3.3.2 inherent reliability: Reliability produced in an item itself at design, manufacturing and reliability testing stages. 3.3.3 operational reliability: Reliability affected by con-
12、ditions of use and service of a machine. The relation to inherent reliability can be shown by the following formula : R, = Ri x k where R, is the operational reliability; Ri is the inherent reliability (3.3.2); k is the condition factor (normally k I). 3.2.2 disponibilite instantanee: Probabilite po
