This document provides a single listing of the National Differences included in the UL adoption of the corresponding IEC standard. Editorial differences ap

Purchasers of the electronic versions of ULs standards documents agree to defend, indemnif
10、y, and hold UL harmless from and against any loss, expense, liability, damage, claim, or judgement (including reasonable attorneys fees) resulting from any error or deviation introduced while purchaser is storing an electronic standards document on the purchasers computer system. If a single-user ve
11、rsion electronic standards document was purchased, one copy of this standards document may be stored on the hard disk of a single personal computer, or on a single LAN file-server or the permanent storage device of a multiple-user computer, or made available through the purchasers Intranet in such a
12、 manner that this standards document may only be accessed by one user at a time and for which there is no possibility of multiple simultaneous, concurrent access. If a multiple-user version electronic standards document was purchased, one copy of the standards document may be stored on a single LAN
13、file-server, or on the permanent storage device of a multiple-user computer, or made available through the purchasers Intranet. The number of simultaneous, concurrent users shall not exceed the number of users authorized. Electronic standards documents are intended for on-line use, such as for viewi
14、ng the requirements of a standards document, conducting a word search, and the like. Only one copy of the standards document may be printed from each single-user version of an electronic standards document. Only one copy of the standards document may be printed for each authorized user of a multiple
15、-user version of an electronic standards document. Because of differences in the computer/software/printer setup used by UL and those of electronic standards document purchasers, the printed copy obtained by a purchaser may not look exactly like the on-line screen view or the printed standards docum
16、ent. An employee of an organization purchasing a UL standards document can make a copy of the page or pages being viewed for their own fair and/or practical internal use. 17、c. Preface This document provides a single listing of the technical National Differences included in the UL adoption of the corresponding IEC standard. Editorial National Differences (those marked DE) are not included in this technical compilation. In its IEC-based standards, UL uses the notations i
18、ndicated below to identify national difference type, and these types are additionally noted in this document. The standard may not use all types of these deviations. DR - These are differences based on the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other U.S. Regulatory Requirements. D1 - These are differen
19、ces which are based on basic safety principles and requirements, elimination of which would compromise safety for U.S. consumers and users of products. Requirements related to these National Differences are based on North American regulatory requirements and are specified in Annex NAE. D2 - These ar
20、e differences based on safety practices. These are differences for IEC requirements that may be acceptable, but adopting the IEC requirements would require considerable retesting or redesign on the manufacturers part. Some of these National Differences are Markings and Instructions Requirements and
21、are specified in Annex NAA. D3 These are national differences based on bi-national requirements which result in less stringent requirements than in IEC 60950-1. DC - These are differences based on the component standards and will not be deleted until a particular component standard is harmonized wit
22、h the IEC component standard. Component requirements for these deviations are specified in Annexes P.1 and P.2.
