18、ility 1.3 Order of Precedence In the event of a conflict between this specification and the references cited herein (except for associated detail specification sheets, or MS standards), the text of this specification shall take precedence. Nothing in this specification, however, shall supersede appl
19、icable laws or regulations unless a specific exemption has been obtained. NEMA WC 75-2015 Page 3 2015 National Electrical Manufacturers Association Section 2 Classification 2.1 General The cable shall consist of 161 pairs, shielded, or shielded and jacketed. The cable shall also be of the following
20、type designation and shall be furnished in the basic wire size, type, number of pairs, and shield and jacket styles as specified (see 2.2 and 6.2). See paragraph 2.2 for an example. 2.2 Cable Designation The type designation of cable will consist of the following form, and as specified (see 6.2): WC
21、75-100 S 24 EE 9 T 09 - A Color Code Designator (see 2.2.5) Jacket Material (see 2.2.8) Shield Material (see 2.2.7) Number of Pairs (see 2.2.6) Dielectric Type (see 2.2.4) Conductor Size (AWG) (see 2.2.3) Conductor Material and Stranding (see 2.2.2) Characteristic Impedance (2.2.1) Type designation
22、example: WC75-100S24EE9T09 Construction: S = Silver Coated Copper 24 = 24 AWG EE = PTFE 9 = Number of pairs T = Tin Copper Braid 09 = FEP Jacket A = Standard Identification Method A 2.2.1 Characteristic Impedance The nominal desired characteristic impedance shall be specified as a three digit number
23、. Examples: 050 = 50 , 075 = 75, 100 = 100 , 120 = 120 2.2.2 Conductor Material and Stranding The conductor material shall be identified by a letter symbol as specified in Table 2-1. All wire in the cable shall be the same material and stranding. Conductor material type must reflect those available
