When specified, a sample shall be subjected to first article inspec- tion (see 4.3 and 6.3). 3.2 Design requirements. 3.2.1 General design. The equipment shall provide the time coordinating capabil
18、ity to permit operation of the interrogator either independently of radar synchronization (free-run- ning), or slaved to the radar synchronization. be satisfied by the design of the equipment. The first system (see FIGURE 1) is the operation of one interrogator with one radar system with the interro
19、gator either slaved to the radar pulse repetition frequency (PRF) or operating independently at some PRF other than that of the radar, The second system (see FIGURES 2 and 3) is the operation of one interrogator simultan- eously with two radar systems having different PRFs. To accomplish the second
20、system, it will be acceptable if the interrogator is slaved to one radar and thereby not slaved to the other. However, the equipment shall accept the PRF of the controlling (slaving) radar whether it is greater than, or less than, the other radar. without modification from the interrogators. these s
21、ignals as outputs shall not alter the signal characteristics of the inputs. polarity (see 0.3 ps to 20 ps pulsewidth with rise time up to 25 percent of the duration of 0.04 ps per V times the amplitude and fall time of up to 1 to 5 times the rise time; li5 V to 55 V amplitude.
