2、tments and Agencies of the Deparhnent of Defense. PAGE 1 1.2 Delete and substitute: “1.2 Classification. The fire extinguishers covered by this specification shall be of the following classes, as specEec (see 6.2.1): Class 1 - Alloy steel Class2 - Aluminum Class 3 - Stainless steel“ PAGE 4 3.1: Dele

5、e and substitute: “3.5.3 Discharge hose assemblv. The overall length of the discharge hose shall be 37 4 2 inches.“ I 3.5.3.3, Second sentence, delete and substitute: I “The discharge horn shall be fabricated of temperature, electric, and water-resistant material having 1/4-18 NPT (for classes 1 and

9、e) shall be stamped on the cylinder dome i.e. curvature area. The marking shall be “W followed by the numerical weight to nearest tenth of a pound. For example, a empty extinguisher that weighs 34.5 pounds should be marked “W 34.5“. The letter size shall be 1/4 inch.“ 3.8 Delete in its entirety. 3.9
