2、fense. 1. SCOPE. 1.1 Scope. This specification establishes the requirements for manufacture and accepfance of the MARK 60 MOD 1 Fuze Booster critical item, referred to herein as the booster. 2. APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS. 2.1 Issues of documents. The following documents, of the issue in effect on date of

The following document forms a part of this speci- f
11、ication to the extent specified herein. Unless otherwise indicated, the issue in effect on date of invitation for bids or request for proposal shall-apply. 12、vernment Printing Office, Washington, DC 20402,) 3. REQUIREMENTS. 3.1 Item definition. The booster initiates the warhead of a guided missile and is composed of a shell, cover, mounting flange, and an explosive pellet con- taining approximately 116 grams of Composition CH-6 explosive in accordance wi
13、th MIL-C-2 172 3. 3.1.1 Government-furnished property. When specified in the contract or pur- chase order, the Government will furnish the contractor with Composition CH-6 explosive in a quantity sufficient to meet contract requirements (see 6.2.1). 3.2 Characteristics. 3.2.1 Performance. 3.2.1.1 Fu
14、nction. The booster shall function as required when initiated by a MARK 87 MOD O Electric Detonator (LD 533567) and a MARK 25 MOD O Explo- sive Lead (DL 1137AS292), respectively. 3 .3 _. 15、 7777706 0433177 1 = 3.2.1.2 Function and output. The depth of the dent shall be 0.200 inch minimum when measured in accordance with Figure 1. 3.2.2 Environmental conditions. The booster shall not be damaged, nor shall safety or subsequent performance be degraded, by exposure to any natural com- bin
16、ation of service-use environments, These shall include, but shall not be limited to, the following environments. 3.2.2.1 Transportation vibration-temperature (nondestructive). The booster shall meet the requirements of MIL-STD.-331, Test 119, Procedure 2. The booster ,shall function with the proper
17、output, and show no evidence of cracks, dents, or other deformities after subjection to the environment of 4.4.3.1. ,3.2.2.2 Temperature and humidity (nondestructive). The booster shall meet the reauirements of MIL-STD-331. Test 105, Two Chamber Method. The booster shall finction with the proper out
18、put, and show no evidence of cracks, ruptures, or other deformities after subjection to the environment of 4.4.3.2. ments of MIL-STD-810, Method 514.2, Procedure V, Part 2, Curve AH. The booster shall function with .the proper output, and, show no evidence of cracks, dents, or other deformities afte
19、r subjection to the environment of 4.4.3;3. 3.2.2.3 Random vibration (nondestructive). The booster shall meet the require- 3.2.2.4 Forty-foot drop (destructive). The booster shall meet the requirements of MIL-STD-331, Test 103, Procedure 2. The booster shall not explode nor .burn during the test, an

The booster:shall meet the requirements of ,MIL-STD- 331, Test 101, Procedure II. The booster shall be safe to store, handle, and trans- port, and shall show no evidence of cracks,
21、ruptures, or other deformities after subjection to the environment of 4.4.3.5. 3.2.3 Radio ra hic. The booster shall show no evidence of loose powder, voids, fissures, + or crac s, and all parts shall be properly located. 3.3 Design and construction. 3.3.1 Production drawings. The booster shall meet
22、 the requirements of and be manufactured and assembled in accordance with the drawings, parts lists, and other documents listed on DL 1137ASld6. - 4 . 23、 3.3.2 Standards of manufacture. 3i3.2.1 Facilities and working environment. The contractor shall provide ade- quate facimies for the fabrication, assembly, and testing of the booster in accord- ance with MIL-STD-l69S(AS). 3.3.2.2 Safety precautions. Unless otherwise specified in the contract .or pu
24、r- chase order, the safety precaution requirements of DoD 4145.26M shall apply (see 6.2.1). 3.3.3 Test equipment calibration. Test equipment shall be calibrated and main- tained in accordance with a plan meeting the requirements of MIGC-45662. When specified in the contract or purchase order, the ca
