Change Notice: Change to new MPAPS format; revised Type 3 material properties; editorial changes. 1.0 APPLICATION This specification covers silicone rubber RTV material intended for use with engine lubricants. This material is not recommended for sealing ethylene
5、glycol and water applications. The material recommended operating range is - 54C (-65F) to 204C (400F). 2.0 SCOPE This specification covers requirements for a room temperature vulcanizing (RTV), non-corrosive, one part silicone rubber for use with as “formed-in-place gaskets” (FIPG) in engines manuf
6、actured by Navistar. 2.1 Restricted Chemical Substances Effective January 1, 2007, all product supplied to the requirements of this specification must comply with the requirements of the MPAPS B-50 specification. 3.0 REFERENCE DOCUMENTS Unless otherwise specified, the latest issue of all referenced
