Particle foam in three types:
2、 1.1.1 Type 1. Polyethylene particle foam, density of foam 55 kg/m 10 kg/m. 1.1.2 Type 2. Polypropylene particle foam, density of foam 22 kg/m 4 kg/m. 1.1.3 Type 3. Polyethylene particle foam, density of foam 25 kg/m 4 kg/m. 1.2 Symbols. Type 1: PE-EPP-EPE-E 1.3 Typical Applications. As-molded part

All requirements listed in Table 1 shall be fulfilled by the
5、delivered foam and shall be documented by the supplier in a construction data sheet. Documentation of additional properties in this construction data sheet may be required by the approving region. The test shall be carried out at +23 C 5 C. See Appendix A. No break Humidity Resistance Storage of the
8、molded part or suitable section for 168 h 2 h at +40 C 3 C and 93% 5% RH. The test shall be carried out in as-received condition without sample conditioning. No change which could adversely affect serviceability. No objectionable odor may occur. Indentation Hardness GMW14363-A2 Test in as-received c
9、ondition. See Figure A2 for measuring point. 5 mm 2 mm Tensile Strength ISO 1926. In the event of con
13、flict between the English and domestic language, the English language shall take precedence. 5.3 Inspection and Rejection. Samples of components or materials released to a GM material specification shall be tested for conformity with the requirements of this material specification and approved by th
14、e responsible Engineering department prior to commencement of delivery of bulk supplies. A new approval must be received for any changes, e.g., properties, manufacturing process, location of manufacture, etc. If not otherwise agreed, all testing and documentation normally required for initial releas
15、e must be completed. It is the responsibility of the supplier to inform the customer in a timely manner, without solicitation, and to include documentation of all modifications of materials and/or processes and to apply for a new release. If not otherwise agreed, all release tests shall be repeated
16、and documented by the supplier prior to commencement of delivery of non-conforming bulk supplies. In individual cases, a shorter test can be agreed to between the responsible Engineering department and the supplier. 5.4 Initial Source Approval. No shipments shall be made by any supplier until repres
