19、ciple Whenspecifiedasarequirementofacoating,itismandatorytohaveatestforthevalidationofappearance, particularlyforuseasarefereemethod.Therelevantdetailedinformationshallbesuppliedbytheproduct standard. NOTE1 Inordertoensurethedurabilityofapprovedsamplesspecialprecautionsmaybenecessary,e.g.storagein d

20、esiccators,orexpirydatesapplieddependingonstorageconditions. Ifthereisnomethodspecifiedbytheproductstandard,acomparatormethodcanbeusedtodetermineboth appearanceanduniformity.Thisshallbeachievedbycomparingthecoatedproductwitharepresentative approvedreferencesample(seeclause4). Measuringtechniquessuch

21、asglossmeters,surfaceprofiling,colourmatchingandothersuitabletestmethodsmay beused,providedtherequiredpropertiesarespecifiedintheproductstandardorintheproductpurchaseorder. 22、dreferencesamplerepresentingthevariationsoftheparameterswithina definedproductionprocess. Thesamplesshallbefabricatedandcoatedusingthesameprocessesandtechniquesasusedonthepurchased piecepartsinordertoensuretotalconsistencyandreproducibilityofproduct.ENISO16348:2003(E) 5 Inordertoavoiddisputes,theagr
