For example, text altered by CEN amendment A1 is indicated by !“.The UK participation in its preparation was entrusted by Technical Committee RAE/1, Railway applications, to Panel RAE/1/-/13, Railway applications Towing coupler
4、s.A list of organizations represented on RAE/1/-/13 can be obtained on request to its secretary.The requirements and recommendations of this standard are based on an existing established rescue coupler in use in Continental Europe. Caution should be exercised before using this rescue coupler in the
5、UK, since it is incompatible with many of the potential rescue vehicles.Many UK-based locomotives in service are fitted with drawgear which is not designed for a buff load. Additionally, locomotives fitted with the Swing-Head Automatic Coupler (which is compatible with buff loads) have very limited
6、space around the drawhook. The rescue coupler is not compatible with any coupler except the UIC-pattern 520 drawhook (UIC 520 is to be superseded by EN15566 (due for publication in 2008).Normative A (mandatory) requirement defined as an expression in the content of a document conveying criteria to b
