Foreword This standard has been prepared by Technical Committee Scheiben und Ringe of the Normenausschuss Mechanische Verbindungselemente (Fasteners Standards Committee). Since the specifi

3、cations for washers with round hole given in DIN 440, May 1990 edition, are now contained in DIN EN IS0 7094, the present standard now only covers washers with square hole. Amendments This standard differs from the May 1990 edition as follows: a) Round hole washers (type R) are no longer included (c

4、f. DIN EN IS0 7094). b) For washers of nominal size 24 mm, the maximum hole diameter has been corrected. c) The specifications relating to surface finish have been amended. d) References to other standards have been updated.
