Dimensions of specimens shall be 380 x 380 mm or as specified

14、 in CANCGSB-4.2 No. 58-M, par. 5.1.1. Specimens shall be prepared in an identical manner, with the seam passing through the middle. Wrinkled specimens may be smoothed by appropriate pressing prior to testing, care being taken not to distort the seam. PROCEDURE Washing - Subject the specimens (and du

15、mmy load if required) to the washing procedures described in section 6 of CANCGSB-4.2 No. 58-M. Remove the specimens from the machine immediately after the final spin cycle is completed and dry them by one of the methods specified in par. 6.2. (Note that specimens to be drip dried shall be removed f

16、rom the machine before the final spin.) Drying - Drip dry, flat dry, line dry or tumble dry the specimens according to Procedures A, C, D or E (par.7.1.1, 7.3.1, 7.4.1 or 7.5.1) in section7 of Repeat the selected washing and drying cycles four more times on the same specimens. Condition the specimen

17、s in accordance with CANICGSB-4.2 No. 2-M. Hang each specimen by two corners, with the seam in the vertical direction, in a draft-free location at room temperature. EVALUATION Mount a test specimen on the viewing board as illustrated in Figure 1 with the seam in the vertical direction. Depending on

18、the type of stitching present in the test specimen, place a single or double-needle photograph standard alongside the specimen. The overhead fluorescent light shall be the only source of illumination for the viewing board, and all other lights shall be turned off. Observation shall be confined to th

19、e area influenced by the seam; the appearance of the rest of the fabric shall be disregarded. With the observer standing directly in front of the specimen, 1.25 m away from the board, assign to the specimen the number of the photographic standard that most nearly matches the appearance of the seam i

20、n the test specimen, to the nearest half unit (Le., halfway between photographs). Evaluate the other specimens in like manner. Repeat the above evaluations on the same three test specimens with a second, then a third independent observer. CANCGSB-4.2 NO. 58-M. CALCULATION Average the nine ratings as

21、signed to the specimens (three judgements on each of the three specimens). 24、les spcimens par gouttage, plat, sur corde a linge ou a la machine conformment aux mthodes A, C, D ou E (al. 7.1.1, 7.3.1, 7.4.1 ou 7.5.1) dcrites dans la section 7 de CANiCGSB-4.2 No 58-M. Rpter les cycles de lavage et de schage choisis quatre autres fois en utilisant les mmes specimens. Conditionn

25、er les spcimens conformment a CANiCGSB-4.2 No 2-M. Suspendre chaque spcimen par deux de ses coins, la couture tant a la verticale, dans un endroit sans courant dair et maintenu a la temperature ambiante. VALUATION Disposer un spcimen dessai sur la table dobservation comme lillustre la figure 1 avec

26、la couture place la verticale. Selon le type de couture excute dans le spcimen, placer un talon photographique simple ou double aiguille ct du spcimen. Le tube fluorescent suspendu doit tre lunique source dclairage de la table dobservation. Toutes les autres lumires doivent tre teintes. Lvaluation d

27、oit se limiter la zone comportant la couture, sans tenir compte de laspect des autres parties du tissu. Lobservateur debout directement devant le spcimen, a 1.25 m de la table, doit attribuer au specimen la cote correspondant a ltalon photographique dont laspect se rapproche le plus de celui de la c

28、outure excute dans le spcimen, a la demi-cote prs (.e., mi-chemin entre les talons). valuer laspect des autres spcimens de la mme faon. Un deuxime, puis un troisime observateur doivent procder de faon identique pour attribuer une cote aux trois mmes spcimens dessai. CALCULS Calculer la moyenne des n
