In this case, these tests arereferred to as acceptance tests.3.18 steam trapself-contained valve that automaticallydrains the condensate from a steam containing enclosure whileremaining tight to live steam, or if necessary, allowing steam toflow at a controlled or adjusted rate.
21、3.18.1 DiscussionMost steam traps will also pass noncon-densable gases while remaining tight to live steam.4.
