Scope*1.1 This test method covers the evaluation of the resistanceof a lubricating grease to washout by water from a bearing,when tested at 38 and 79C (100 and 175F) under theprescribed laboratory conditions. It is no
4、t to be considered theequivalent of service evaluation tests. This test method may notbe suitable for some greases containing highly volatile com-ponents.1.2 The values state in SI units are to be regarded as thestandard. The values given in parentheses are for informationonly.1.3 This standard does
