REQUIREMENTS tl 3.1 First article. This specification contains technical provisions for first article in

8、spection. Requirements or submission of first article inspection by the contractor shall be as specified in the contract. 3.2 Materials and construction. The storage racks shall conform .to the materials and construction requirements specified herein, on drawing F11828609 and shall be in accordance

9、with the applicable materials and construction processes of MIL-W-13855. 3.2.1 Welding. Welding shall be as specified on drawing 11828609 and MIL-STD-1261. Welding symbols shall be interpreted as specifed in ANSI Y32.3. 3.3 Design. The design of the storage rack shall conform to the design specified

The we

11、apon serial numbers shallbeWlT-whi-th weapons are in a fully loaded rack in the locked position. 3.3.2.2 Weapon protection. All weapons shall be fully enclosed withFFfiera6k envelope and there shall be no metal contact between the weapons and the rack. - - - - 3.3.2.3 Weapon security. None of the we

12、apons shall be able to be disassemedzccked in the rack. 3.4 Rack stackabili9. Racks shall be easily secured together vertically andTor horizontally without any degradation to the requirements of paragraphs 3.2 and 3.3. 3.5 Weight. Rack shall not exceed 130 lbs. 3.6 Marking. Each rack shall be marked

13、 in accordance with drawing Fmm9 and MIL-W-13855. 3.7 Workmanship. Workmanship shall be in accordance with M IL-W- 13 83 5. 4. First Article Inspection (See 4.201). b. Quaity Conformance Inspection (see 4.3). 4.2.1 First article - - inspection. - - The firs

16、t article Sample shall be subjected to the quarrfy conformance inspection as specified herein and such other inspection as necessary to determine that all requirements of the contract have been met. The first article sample shall be representative of the manufacturing methods and processes to be use

17、d for quantity production. The first article samples shall be submitted and inspected prior to the beginning of quantity praduction. 4.2.2 First article submission. 4.2.2.1 Submission. The contractor sha.11 submit a first - 4 -.-.- - - - article samp1.e as designated by the contracting officer for e

18、valuation in accordance with the provisions of 4.2.1. 4.2.2.2 Rejection. If any rack fails to comply with any of 7 _- the applicable requirements, the first article sample shall be rejected, The government reserves the right to terminate its inspection upon any failure of a rack to comply with any o

19、f the stated requirements. In the event of rejection, the government reserves the right to require the contractor to take corrective action and submit a new first article quantity. Until the first article quantity is accepted, the contractor is not authorized to proceed with regular production unles

20、s otherwise directed by the contracting officer. 4.3 Quality conformance inspection, -_I-_- 4.3.1 Inspection lot.
