3、ll not injure or contaminate any of the parts. 4. 4.1 Lot. - A lot shall consist of parts for 100,000 fuzes unless a smaller AMPLING, INSPECTION, AND TEST PROCEDURES quantity is specified by the inspector. The first. lot manufactured on any contract, * however, shall consist of parts or 3,000 f 500

4、fuzed except when a new contract award follows immediately the manufacture of gatisfactory material of this character. 4.2 Insgection. - Inspection shall be as specified in Specification MIL-(2-2550 detonator holder, booster cup, ejection pin assembly, ejection spring, and safety band assembly remov

5、ed, shall have its setback sleeve locked in the armed position, and shall then be mounted in a fixture similar to that shown in figure 1. A total load of 3/18 pounds (including the weight of the modified detonator holder, the spring load of the indicator, and the test weight) shall be applied at suc

6、h a. rate that the firing pin does not move faster than O. 25 inch per minute. The apparatus shall be arranged so that when the firing pin reaches the firing position it makes an electrical contact with the contact post and closes the indicator light circuit. Th e distance the pin moves to reach fir

After Lhe test the assembly shall. be returned to the unarmed position. 4.3.2 Acceptance. - Each metal parts assembly that. ments of 3.3 shall be rejected, subject to correction of its defects and resubmission . _ to meet the require- for test. 8、.4.1 Procedure. - Each metal parts assembly in the lot, less the detonator holder booster cup, and safety band assembly, and with the fuze in an upright position, shall be subjected to a load of %O + O. 5 pounds applied to the forward end of the set back sleeve. The load shall be &stributed evedy ar

9、ound the end surface of the sleeve. This test shall then be repeated with the safety band assembly reattached. 4.4.2 Acceptance, - Each metal parts assembly that fails to meet the require- ment of 3.4 shall be rejected, subject to correction of its defects and sesubmisaion for test. 4,5 Test of weld
