4、IL-E-3400. 3.3.1.1 The approval of the equipment as specified in 3.2, or model as required in 4.5.1, shall be contingent upon authorization by the procuring activity for the use of all parts and materials. 6、ber.of the standard specification (MIL, AN, RW, etc.) under which the part or material was manufactured Materials used (type, grade, etc.) Type of finish or covering 3.3.2.2 Test Data.- Item “12“ of figure 1 (MIL-E-5400) shall include the complete detail test procedure used. 7、for ResaleNo reproduction or networking permitted without license from IHS-,-,-3.3.2.2.1 The contractor shall submit to the procuring activity test data on those nonstandard parts which constitute an engineering risk or procurement availability problem. 3.3.2.2.2 The tests conducted by the contracto

8、r on nonstandard parts and materials shall be all the appropriate tests of the specifications determined by ANA Bulletin 143 which are applicable to the particular item. The sample nonstandard parts on which the contractor conducted his tests shall be submitted to the procuring activity together wit

9、h nonstandard part data sheets. 3.3.3 Preliminary List of Electronic Parts.- In addition to the requirements of MIL-E-5400, the cqntractor shall submit to the procuring activity a list of all parts and materials affecting the electrical characteristics of the equipment. 3.3.4 Markinp: and Identifica

Parts expect

12、ed to be serviced or replaced, due to the present state of the art in meeting the required service life, shall be designated. The expected life of these parts must meet the approval of the procuring activity. 3.3.8 Maintenance Provisions.- The equipment shall be so constructed that no damage to any

14、8.1 Special Test Equiument.- Special or unique items of test equipment necessary for operational checkout of the IP-284A/Aps Indicator , and for tne proper demonstration, maintenance, and testing of the equipment shall be provided by the contractor. Special test equipment shall be developed in accor

15、dance with Specification MILT-945. 3.3.9 Orientation.- The azimuth an range indicator may be mounted in any position, if properly supporGd from the mounting pads . 3 4.10 Service Conditions (Electrical) 3.3.10.1 The equipment shall perfom as specified herein when operated with lo5 to 125 volts ac li

16、ne-to-neutral, 3-phase, 380 to 420 cps power in accordance with Specification MIL-E-7894. 3.3.10.2 Power Ratings.- The power required by the equipment shall not exceed the following: 4 amperes at il5 volts ac, 400 cps, single phase 15 milliamperes at minus 3OOV dc 3.3.11 Service Conditions (Environm

17、ental) .- The equipment specified herein is considered Class 1 as defined in MIL-E-3400 by the paragraph “Classification“ under “Scope. II 3.3.12 Service Conditions (Mechanical).- The equipment shall be capable of withstanding the vibration tests and shock tests as specified in Motorola Specificatio

18、n 3l2M42O without impairing the performance and without damage to the equipmnt. 3.3.13 Stability.- The equipment shall operate with specified performnce for at least 200 hours, continuously or intermittently, without adjustment of any controls which are not accessible during flight. During the first

19、 20 hours of the 200-hour period, no adjustment of any control shall be permitted. 3.4 Standard Sample,- A standard production sample of the liidicator, Azimuth and Range Up-284A/APS shall be used to demonstrate the ruinhum acceptable standard of materials, design, workmanship and performance not sp

20、ecified herein (see 6.2.2). with the required functional and dimensional interchangeability. If it conflicts with the specification, the specification shall govern. 21、m IHS-,-,-MU- 1-23470 ( USAI?) 3.5 Selection of Specification and Standards.- Specifications and standards for necessary connnodities and services not specified herein shall be sele.cted according to ANA Bulletin 143, except as provided in 3.5.1 and 3e.je2. 3.5.1 Ccsmercial Parts . - Comercial parts

22、 having sui table properties may be used where, on the date of invitation for bids, there are no suit- able standard parts. In any case, commercial utility parts, like screws, bolts, nuts and cotter pins, having suitable properties may be used provided 8 . a. They can be replaced by the standard par

23、ts (PIS or AN) without alteration. b. The corresponding standard part numbers are referenced in the parts list and, if practical, on the contractors drawings. 3.5.2 Standard Parts.- With the exception in 3.5.1, MS and AN standard parts shall be used where they suit the purpose, on the drawings by; t

24、heir part numbers. IP-284A/Aps Indicator shall conform to Drawing 372315050 and details thereof . They shall be identified 3.6 Desim and Cons%ruction.- The design and construction of the 3.6.1 Nongovernmental Drawiws .- This specification shall govern in any conflict with the nongovernmental drawing

25、a called out herein. 3.7 Performance.- The P-28$/Aps Indicator shall provide a PPI presentation of the output of the AN/APS-, or equivalent radar set, maified by inputs from an associated bombing-navigational computer to allow a visual representation of radar targets, terrain features and radar beac

26、ons. a 10-hch cathode ray tube, and shall be pressurized by means of the radar pressurization system to allow high altitude operation. Th,e unit shall have integral photographic capability, 3.8 Details of Cowonents 3.8.1 Periscope.- The cmra periscope shall be designed for use with a modified Type 0

35、4.4.4 4.4.5 4.4.6 4.2.2.1 Sampling Plan,- One IP-284A/Aps indicator shall be selected at random from every 200, or fraction thereof, manufactured on each production run and subjected to the following tests as described under 4.4: TEST APPLICBBLE PARAGRAPH Indicator, Azimuth and bige P-A/APS 4.4.s Sa

36、mpling Tests 4.4.7 4.2.2.1.1 Rejection and Retest,- When one item selected from a production run fails to meet this specification, no items still on hand or later produced shall be accepted until the extent and cause of failure are determined. 4.2.2.1.2 Individual Tests May Continue.- For operationa

37、l reasons, individual tests may be continued pending the investigation of a sampling test failure. shall not be made until it is determined that items meet all the requirements of this specification. But final acceptance of items on hand or produced later 4.2.3 Defects in Items AJready Accepted.- Th

38、e investigation of a test failure could indicate that defects may exist in items already accepted. 40、d in Specification MILE-7894, 4.4 Test Methods 4.4.1 Sweep Amplifier Test.- accordance. with Specification 312M.570. accordance with Specification 312M.69 . 41、vo amplifier shall be tested in accordance with Specification 312M571. 4.4.4 Power Supply Test.- 4.4,5 Indicator. -Azimuth and Range IJ?-284A/APS.- The Ih284A/AF3 4.4.6 Reliability Test.- Each Indieator; Azimuth and Range E-284a/S shall be subjected to a 5-hour reliability test and this test may run

42、 concurrently with one or more of the other tests being psdormed, 99 percent (see figure 1) of the equipments shall complete this test without failure to comply with the man-time-to-failure requiremnt of 3.3 .?.l. 46、esign of the equipment meets the requirements specified herein. 4.5.2 Preproduction Tes.ts.- Preproduction tests shall consist of all tests required in accordance with Specif icatipn 312MipO. 5. PREPARATION FOR DELIVERY 5.1 General.- All preservation, packaging, packing, marking and testing shall co

47、nform to the requirements of Specification ME-E-17555 except that all applicable tests shall.be conducted by the contractor in the presence of a Government representative. In conducting rough handling teqts any unit package of fragile items, dummy loaded and weigh- ing over five pounds, shall be int

48、ernally instrumented for recording the Hg8 shock loading simultaneously along each of three mutually perpendicular axes of the tes specimen. The shock loading data shall be reported to the procuring activity along with the maximum “gn shock loading that the actual i tem will withstand vi thout damag

49、e . After successful completion of the above test the test shall be repeated using the actual item without instrumentation. Acceptance of the package design and preparation for delivery will be contingent .upon successful passage of the latter test.
