1、 FSC 6230 A-A-59573A 5 October 2009 SUPERSEDING A-A-59573 5 April 2004 COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION LIGHT, EXTENSION- (PORTABLE, FLUORESCENT, HAZARDOUS LOCATION USE) The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this commercial item description (CID), for all federal agencies. 1. Scop

2、e. This commercial item description covers a 120VAC powered, handheld, 26 watt fluorescent work light that is Factory Mutual (FM) or Underwriter Laboratories (UL) labeled to be safe for use in, Class I, Division 1, Group C b) meet appropriate performance standards, or c) subcontractors comply with t

3、his requirement. 4. PRODUCT CONFORMANCE PROVISIONS. 4.1 Product Conformance. The products produced shall meet all salient characteristics of this specification, conform to the producers own drawings, specifications, standards, and quality assurance practices, and be the same product offered for sale

4、 in the commercial market. The Government requires the manufacturer to submit with each unit a Certificate of Conformance stating that all salient characteristics of this specification are met. The Government reserves the right to return to the contractor any and all items that does not satisfactori

5、ly perform the necessary requirements. 4.2 Records. Records of examinations and tests performed by or for the contractor shall be maintained by the contractor and made available to the Government upon the Governments request, at any time, or from time to time, during the performance of the contract

6、and for a period of three years after delivery of the supplies to which such records relate. 4.3 Hazardous Location Certification. All supplied items shall carry a UL or FM standard commercial certification label referencing Hazardous Locations certified for and testing document number. One copy of

PACKAGING. 5.1 Preservation, packing, and marking. Preservation, packing, and marking shall be as specified
