Introduction The series of standards VDI/VDE 3699 specifies regulations and gives recommendations regarding the design of displays (mimics, curves, messages) for cases where full-graphics display systems are used for process c

19、 can be accessed on the Internet at www.vdi.de/3699. 1 Anwendungsbereich Kurvendarstellungen dienen zur Prozessfhrung im bestimmungsgemen (Produktions-)Betrieb oder zur Diagnose von Strungen. Zweck dieser Richtlinie ist es, Regeln und Emp-fehlungen zur Darstellung von Kurven auf Bild-schirmen und zu

20、r Bedienung von Kurvenbildern zu geben. Die Anwendung dieser Empfehlungen fhrt zu Darstellungen und Bedienungen, die kompatibel zu jenen fr vorgestaltete Darstel-lungen, Fliebilder und Meldungen sind, konform mit geltenden Normen sind und denen ergonomische Erkenntnisse zugrunde liegen. Dadurch wird: 1 Scope Curve displays are used for process control in normal (production) operation or to diagnose faults. The purpose of this standard is to specify regula-tions and give recomm

22、endations for the representa-tion of curves on screen displays and for the con-trol of curve displays. The application of these recommendations leads to displays and controls which are compatible with those for preformatted dis-plays, mimics and messages, comply with valid standards and are based on

23、 ergonomic knowledge. Die Richtlinienreihe VDI/VDE 3699 gilt fr die Prozessfhrung mit Bildschirmen in Anlagen der chemischen und petrochemischen Verfahrenstech-nik, fr Anlagen zur Dampferzeugung

26、sowie fr verfahrenstechnische Anlagen im Bereich der Eisenhttenindustrie, soweit nicht fr die genann-ten Anlagen oder Teilanlagen besondere Vor-schriften zu beachten sind, z. B. bei Anlagen, die mit Kernenergie betrieben werden. Die Richtlinie ist anzuwenden fr die Darstellung von Werten als Kurve i

27、n Abhngigkeit von der Zeit. The configuring of curve graphs becomes eas-ier. Repeated deliberations and inputs are un-necessary in new projects. The correct interpretation of curve representa-tions is more reliable and easier for operators who work with different systems (e.g. in differ-ent control

28、rooms). Note: In the following, this guideline refers to the operator with the pronouns “he”, “his”, etc., but the term includes both male and female employees. This series of standards VDI/VDE 3699 is valid for process control with screens in chemical and pet-rochemical processing plants, in plants

29、 for steam generation, as well as in process engineering plants in metallurgy, provided that no special regulations are to be observed in plants or parts of plants, e.g. for nuclear-powered plants. Werte (analog oder binr) knnen gemessen oder berechnet und von Hand oder automatisch eingegeben s

36、ein. Kurven liefern qualitative (steigend, fallend, gleich-bleibend) und quantitative (Wann welcher Wert?, Betrag einer Abweichung oder Differenz) Infor-mationen. Insbesondere lassen sich durch Kurven leicht er-kennen und bestimmen: Gradienten: z. B. von Temperaturen in C/min Abhngigkeiten: Bei glei

37、chzeitiger Anzeige mehrerer Kurven wird erkennbar, wie die nde-rung einer Gre sich auf eine andere Gre auswirkt. Extremwerte: Wann wurde der grte bzw. der kleinste Wert erreicht und wie gro war er? Schwankungsbreiten: Wie gut hielt die Rege-lung den Istwert im vorgegebenen Toleranzbe-reich? Ereignis

38、se (Alarme): Wann hat der Messwert eine Alarmgrenze berschritten? Weshalb? (Zusammenhnge aus Abhngigkeiten) Anmerkung: Die Anzeige von Kurven kann sowohl als eigene Grafik in Form von Einblendbildern aufgerufen werden als auch ein Bestandteil eines Fliebilds sein. Curves show the course of values of

39、 one or more variables as a function of time as a line or series of dots. Values (analogue or binary) can be measured or calculated and be input either manually or auto-matically. Curves provide qualitative (rising, falling, steady) and quantitative (Which value applies when?, How is the amount of a

40、 deviation or difference?) infor-mation. In particular, the following can be easily detected and determined by curves: gradients: e.g. temperatures in C/min Dependencies: The simultaneous display of several curves enables to detect the effect of the change in one variable on another. Extreme values:

41、 When was the largest or small-est value reached and what was its magnitude? Magnitude of fluctuations: how well does the control system keep the actual values within the specified tolerance range? Events (alarms): When did the measurand ex-ceed an alarm limit? Why? (interdependencies) Note: The dis

42、play of curves can be a separate graphic in the form of a popup window or be integrated into a mimic. 4.2 Vorgeschichte und Historie In Darstellungen mit Vorgeschichte wird (bei horizontalem Kurvenverlauf) im Normalfall der aktuelle Wert an der rechts liegenden Werteachse angezeigt. Nach links ist d

43、ie Vorgeschichte ber die im Bild vorgegebene Zeitspanne angezeigt. Durch Scrollen nach links (die Kurven werden nach rechts verschoben) lsst sich der Inhalt des Vorgeschichte-Speichers bis zu dessen Anfangs-punkt einsehen. Neben einer ausreichend langen Vorgeschichte mssen fr sptere Analysen und Nac

44、hweise His-toriekurven aus einem Archiv abrufbar sein. Bei horizontalem Kurvenverlauf ist die Werteachse dann am linken Rand der Kurvenfelder angeord-net. Historiekurven werden nicht aktualisiert. Die Archivierung muss von Hand oder automa-tisch gestartet und gestoppt werden knnen. Chargenbezogene A

45、rchivierung soll mglich sein. Auf die Daten des Archivs sollte mit Auswertungs-programmen zugegriffen werden knnen. Die Unterschiede zwischen Vorgeschichte- und Historiekurven sind in Tabelle 1 gegenberge-stellt. 4.2 Recent and older history In presentations with history (for horizontal curves) the

46、representation of the current value on the value axis is normally shifted to the right-hand side. To the left, it shows historical values over the time interval specified in the display. By scrolling to the left (the curves are moved to the right), the content of the memory storage can be viewed up

47、to its starting point. In addition to a sufficiently long recent history, it shall also be possible to retrieve older history curves from an archive for subsequent analyses and verifications. In horizontal curve types, the value axis is then on the left edge of the curve field. His-tory curves are n

48、ot updated. It shall be possible to start and stop the archiving either manually or automatically. Batch-related archiving shall be possible. It should be possible to access the archived data with analysis programs. The differences between recent history curves and older history curves are shown in
