29、Atmosphre gelangendenorganischen Verbindungen stammt aus natrlichenQuellen, wie z.B. Smpfen und geothermischen Ak-tivitten (Methan (CH4) oder Wldern (Terpene).Fr die vom Menschen in die Umwelt eingebrachtenorganischen Verbindungen ist der Autoverkehr diegrte Quelle. Von weiterer Bedeutung sind Landw

30、irt-schaft, Emissionen von Mlldeponien, Mllsortier-anlagen und biologischen Abfallbehandlungsanlagen,Emissionen bei der Erdgas- und Erdlfrderung,Freisetzungen von Lsemitteln, Freisetzungen orga-nischer Stoffe bei chemischen Prozessen sowie un-vollstndige Verbrennungsprozesse. Organische Ver-bindunge

31、n knnen (neben NOx) als Vorlufer bei derBildung des bodennahen Ozons betrachtet werden.Eine Ausnahme ist Methan, das auf Grund seiner ge-ringeren Reaktivitt von den anderen organischenVerbindungen getrennt betrachtet werden kann unddaher bei der Beurteilung von Emissionen einen Son-derfall darstellt

32、.In der Richtlinienreihe VDI 3481 werden zwei Ver-fahren zum Messen der Emissionen der Summe vonorganisch gebundenem Kohlenstoff festgelegt: dieBestimmung von Gesamt-C mit dem Silicagelverfah-ren (VDI 3481 Blatt 2) und dem Flammenionisations-detektor (FID) (VDI 3481 Blatt 3). Das FID-Verfah-ren zur

33、Bestimmung der Emissionen von Gesamt-Cist auch in den Normen DIN EN 12619 undDIN EN 13526 beschrieben. In Abschnitt 5.3.2.3 derTA Luft wird auf diese beiden Messverfahren ver-wiesen.Bei dem in dieser Richtlinie beschriebenen FID-Ver-fahren werden sowohl die Summe der organischen Koh-lenstoffverbindu

36、 con-sidered before the final version is published.The guidelines and standards are published in the six-volume VDI/DIN Reinhaltung der Luft (Air Pollu-tion Prevention) manual.IntroductionThe greater part of the organic substances which areemitted into the atmosphere originates from naturalsources s

37、uch as swamps and geothermic processes(methane (CH4) or forests (terpenes). The mostdominant anthropogenic source for organic sub-stances is vehicle traffic. Further relevant sources areagriculture, emissions from landfills, waste screeningplants and biological waste treatment plants, emis-sions fro

38、m natural gas and oil production, solventemissions, emissions of organic substances fromchemical production processes and incomplete com-bustion processes. Organic substances (along withNOx) can be considered as precursors for the forma-tion of ground-level ozone. Due to its lower reactivitymethane

39、can be considered as an exception and there-fore be assessed separately from the other organicemissions.The guideline series VDI 3481 specifies two methodsfor the measurement of total organic carbon (TOC) influe gases: the (silica gel) adsorption method(VDI 3481 Part 2) and the flame ionisation dete

40、ctor(FID) method (VDI 3481 Part 3). The FID methodfor the determination of TOC emissions is alsodescribed in the standards DIN EN 12619 andDIN EN 13526. Section 5.3.2.3 of TA Luft refers toboth measurement methods.The FID method which is specified in this guidelineallows the simultaneous determinati

41、on of methaneand the total of the organic compounds.
