37、fe bei Kraftwerken, industriellen Prozessensowie Motoren aller Art angewandt. In dem Verfah-ren werden die emittierten Stickstoffoxide (NO undNO2) an einem Katalysator bei Temperaturen zwi-schen 170 C und 500 C mit NH3 zu Stickstoff undWasser umgesetzt.Diese Umsetzung wird durch zwei Bruttoreaktions

38、-gleichungen beschrieben:4NO + 4NH3 + O2 a2opleftrt 4N2 + 6H2O (1)2NO2 + 4NH3 + O2 a2opleftrt 3N2 + 6H2O (2)Hierbei luft die erste Reaktion schnell ab, whrenddie zweite Reaktion deutlich langsamer abluft. Diezweite Reaktion ist darber hinaus aufgrund desmeist sehr geringen NO2-Anteils im Rohgas vonu

39、ntergeordneter Bedeutung.Die katalytische Reaktion zwischen NO und NH3kann an der Katalysatoroberflche nur ablaufen,wenn die Reaktionspartner NO, NH3 und O2 durchdie hydrodynamische Grenzschicht des Katalysatorsdiffundieren. Nachdem NH3 in einem schnell ablau-fenden Reaktionsschritt chemisorbiert wi

43、ndustrial processes and engines of all types.In this method, the emitted nitrogen oxides (NO andNO2) are converted at a catalyst with the addition ofNH3, at temperatures between 170 C and 500 C, tonitrogen and water.This conversion is described by two overall reactionequations:4NO + 4NH3 + O2 a2ople

44、ftrt 4N2 + 6H2O (1)2NO2 + 4NH3 + O2 a2opleftrt 3N2 + 6H2O (2)Here the first reaction proceeds rapidly, whereas thesecond reaction proceeds significantly more slowly.Moreover, due to the mostly very low NO2 content influe gas, the second reaction is of secondary impor-tance.The catalytic reaction bet

45、ween NO and NH3 can pro-ceed at the catalysts surface only if the reaction par-ticipants NO, NH3 and O2 diffuse through the cata-lysts hydrodynamic boundary layer. The NH3 havingbeen chemisorbed in a rapidly proceeding reactionstep, NO from the gas phase reacts with the NH3.The reaction of NO and NH
