The standard may not use all types of thesedeviations.D1 - These ar

10、e deviations which are based on basic safety principles and requirements, elimination ofwhich would compromise safety for U.S. consumers and users of products.D2 - These are deviations based on safety practices. These are deviations for IEC requirements that maybe acceptable, but adopting the IEC re

11、quirements would require considerable retesting or redesign on themanufacturers part.DC - These are deviations based on the component standards and will not be deleted until a particularcomponent standard is harmonized with the IEC component standard.DE - These are deviations based on editorial comm

40、rque in Newton-meters to be applied to the clamping screws of all field wiring terminals.Control field wiring terminals evaluated for 0.8 Nm are not required to be marked.5.2DV.7 During the temperature test, when the temperature rise on the terminal is 50C orless and an aluminum bodied connector is

41、used or aluminum wire is intended, theconnector shall be marked AL7CU or AL9CU. When the terminal temperature rise exceeds50C and does not exceed 65C, the connector shall be marked AL9CU.5.2DV.8 Equipment incorporating two or more separate circuits intended to be connectedto a common power source sh

42、all be marked: All circuits must be connected to the samepole of the power source, or with an equivalent wording. The wiring diagram of theequipment shall illustrate a typical connection of the various circuits connected to thecommon power source.5.2DV.9 The equipment shall be marked stating which p

43、ressure wire connector orcomponent terminal kits have been evaluated for use with the equipment. A wire connectorof the type mentioned in the marking may be installed in the equipment at the factory withinstructions, when required to effect proper connection of the conductor.5.3DV D2 Modification to

Directleads measuring a maximum of 305 mm long or printed-wiring assemblies having noconnection ext

49、ernal to the equipment are not required to be protected. In Canada, thisrequirement does not apply.7.1.1DV.1.2.3 Unless protected by the power circuit protective device or as noted in7.1.1DV.1.2.4, separate conductor protection shall always be required and a fuse holdershall be provided with the equipment. Protection shall be as follows:When protection is provided by fuses:a) Branch-circuit type fuse: The fuse is not required to be provided with theequipment. When the fuse holder will accept a fuse having a higher current ratingt
