SCOPE1.1 Form This specification covers a magnesium alloy in the form of die forgings, hand forgings, and forging stock.1.2 Application These forgings have been used typically for parts requiring
7、 high strength-to-weight ratio for service up to 300 F (149 C), but usage is not limited to such applications.2. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Composition Shall conform to the percentages by weigh

15、tation heat treated by heating to 300 F 15 (149 C 8), holding at heat for not less than 24 hours, and cooling in air. Pyrometry shall be in accordance with AMS2750.3.4 PropertiesThe product shall conform to the requirements of 3.4.1, determined in accordance with ASTM B 557 or ASTM B 557M.SAE INTERN
