5、0.45Ag 0.12Zr (2050-T852) Solution Heat Treated, Cold Worked and Artificially Aged (Composition similar to UNS A92050) RATIONALE AMS4357 is a new specification which covers aluminum-lithium alloy 2050-T852 in the form of die forgings. 1. SCOPE 1.1 Form This specification covers an aluminum alloy in
6、the form of die forgings from 2 inches (50.8 mm) to 10 inches (254 mm) in nominal thickness and forging stock of any size (see 8.5). 1.2 Application These forgings have been used typically for machined structural parts where low density is needed in combination with a high level of mechanical proper
7、ties and good resistance to stress-corrosion cracking, but usage is not limited to such applications. 2. 16、y aged to the T852 temper (see ANSI H35.1/H35.1M) (see 8.2). 3.2.2 Forging Stock As ordered by the forging manufacturer. 3.3 Properties The product shall conform to the following requirements, determined in accordance with AMS2355 on the mill produced size. 3.3.1 Mechanical property requirements for
