Descrbtion - The footwear covers shall be a pull-on, disposable type of a single shape (for either foot) with an elastic top clocure, mad

All seams shall be heat sealed and the outsole shall have an embosced non-skid pattern. lhetopclosureshallbeturnedduwn 1-1/8 to 1-1/4 inch with an elastic tape inserted hefore heat seal-. Material - The basic material shall be vinyl film conforming to type I, class 1 of GP

3、-375. The thickness for the upper portion shall be 0.008 (it0.0008) inch. The thickness for the outsole shall be 0.040 (10.004) inch and tested as specified for the 0.020 inch film of i,+-375. me elastic tape for the top closure shall be of any cornmescial type suitable for the purpose intended and

4、shall be 5/8 (11/16) inch wide. The thrad used for joining the ens of the elastic tape shall be of any ccnmnercial type suitable for the purpose intended. Defect. footwear covers shall be examined for the following defects: any hole (including pin hole), cut, tear, blister or bubble, any crack, crater, crazing, rupture

16、, wrinkle or burn; any weak or thin spot; not material specified, any rough edge; excess material not trimmed after heat sealing; any spot or stain (outside); outsole walking surface not embossed with non-skid pattern; any open seam; inadequate heat seal i.e., seam can be easily pulled apart with mo

17、derate hard pressure; permanent size label crmitted; not cut or fabricated in accordance with the prluct demonstration midel; label miss-, incorrect, or illegible; measurement of item not as specified; and any variance not otherwise classified herein Ixrt at variance with the prduct demonctration mo

18、del. nie End Item Testing - The seams of the footwear covers shall be tested for bondability. The rnhimm bond strength shall be determined by the tensile strength test method in GP-375, but the breaking factor shall be the basis for conparicon. The recult shall be no less than 65% of the breaking fa

19、ctor of the .O08 inch film. The percent breaking strength shall be determined by the following: Break factor of bonded seam Break factor of ,008 inch film %Wreakingstrength = x 100 Preservation - Each pair of footwear covers, with the coles facing each other and reversed heel to toe, shall have the
