8、 describes the additions to the ISDN User Part (ISUP) for providing a transport mechanism used by applications requiring a bearer in conjunction with the support of the applications signalling information flow. This transport mechanism shall provide the same capabilities as the Transaction Capabilit
9、ies Application Part (TCAP) provides to its users. Source ITU-T Recommendation 4.765 was revised by ITU-T Study Group 11 (1997-2000) and approved under the WTSC Resolution 1 procedure on 15 June 2000. Keywords APM, ISUP. The ITU Telecommunication Standardization Sector (ITU-T) is a permanent organ of ITU. ITU-T is responsible for studying technical, op
11、erating and tariff questions and issuing Recommendations on them with a view to standardizing telecommunications on a worldwide basis. The World Telecommunication Standardization Conference (WTSC), which meets every four years, establishes the topics for study by the ITU-T study groups which, in tur
12、n, produce Recommendations on these topics. The approval of ITU-T Recommendations is covered by the procedure laid down in WTSC Resolution 1. In some areas of information technology which fall within ITU-Ts purview, the necessary standards are prepared on a collaborative basis with IS0 and IEC. NOTE
13、 In this Recommendation, the expression “Administration“ is used for conciseness to indicate both a telecommunication administration and a recognized operating agency.
