2、24-A 1. SCOPE This specification defines the performance requirements for floor mat edging. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material used as edging for floor mats. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers m
3、ust conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). See table 1 for testing requirements and specimen size. 3.1.1 Materials used in interior applications must meet the requirements outlined in WSS-M99P2222-B1/Latest, Performance, Vehicle Interior Environment
4、Quality Material/Component Requirements. Data must be included in material submission package. 3.2 APPEARANCE (FLTM BI 109-01) The color, pattern and finish shall match the approved Design Center master sample or shall be as specified on the engineering drawing. 3.3 PHYSICAL PROPERTIES 3.3.1 Tensile
5、 Strength, Original (N) Report* (ASTM D2208) 3.3.1.1 Tensile Strength after Heat Aging 70% of original min. (Heat age 7 days at 80 +/- 2C) 3.3.1.2 Tensile Strength after Fade 70% of original min. (FLTM BO 116-01, 225.6 kJ/m2) 3.3.2 Elongation, Original (%) Report* (ASTM D2211) * Report values will b
6、e documented on the Approved Source List under the specific approval. 3.3.3 Taber Abrasion 250 cycles (SAE J948, 500 g load, H18 wheels) The edge binding shall exhibit no visual evidence of wear through / holes or degradation of pattern.
