SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a reaction injection molded (RIM) thermos
3、etting polyurethane that will be molded in color to compliment the topcoat paint color. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material used in the manufacture of airbag deployment doors which may have a fabric insert molded into the part. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREM
4、ENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.4 MOLDED TEST SPECIMEN 3.4.1 Preparation of Test Specimens All test specimens shall be cut from 3.2 mm nominal thickness slab stock prep
5、ared from production compound. 3.4.2 Density 0.92 - 1.08 g/cm3(ASTM D 792, Method A) 3.4.3 Hardness, Durometer A 70 - 76 (ASTM D 2240, instantaneous) 3.4.4 Tensile Strength, min 3.8 MPa (ASTM D 412, Die A, 500 mm/minute test speed) 3.4.4.1 Elongation at Break, min 85% (Test Method acc. to 3.4.4) 3.4
