7、 the CEN Primary Questionnaire procedure. Following the positive result of the CEN/CS Proposal IS0 6590-1 : 1983 was submitted to the Formal Vote. The result of the Formal Vote was positive. This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identica

8、l text or by endorsement, at the latest by May 1993, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by May 1993. Scope This part of IS0 6590 defines terms commonly used in paper sack man

15、ufac- ture. It refers to single- and multi-ply sacks made from paper; it does not refer to bags for the retail trade. General Certain definitions relating to paper sacks and their manufacture are indi- cated. paper sack : A container made essentially from one or more flattened tubular plies of paper

16、 closed at least at one end, possibly in combination with other flexible materials to provide the properties required for filling and the goods distribution chain. NOTES 1 Hereafter where the word sack is used in the text of this International Standard, paper sack is to be understood. If no prefix i
