This specification covers metric locked in studs. The method of locking in the stud is.by means of a serrated collar and an acc
4、essory lockring with matching serrations installed within the parent material to prevent rota- t ion. 2. 15、etween the text of this specification and the references other than Specification sheets cited herein, the text of this specification shall take precedence. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Specification sheets. The individual item requirements shall be as speci- fied herein and in accordance with the applicable
16、 specification sheet. In the event of any conflict between the requirements of this specification and the specification sheet, the latter shall govern. 3.2 Material. Recycled and reclaimed materials (see 3.1) shall be used to the maximum extent practicable. from the following materials as specified.
17、 The studs shall be a one piece all metal unit, made 3.2.1 Alloy steel. Alloy steel shall be composition 8740 (UNS G87400) in ac- cordance with AMs 6322. 3.2.2 Nickel base alloy. tant composition 718 (UNS N07718) in accordance with AMs 5662. 18、reatment and finish. 3.3.1 Heat treatment. The stud shall be heat treated in accordance with the heat treatment process specified in MIL-H-6875. 3.3.2 Protective finish. The stud shall be furnished with a protective plating or surface treatment as specified herein. 3.3.2.1 Cadmium plate. with QQ-P-4
