Scope*1.1 This specificatio
3、n covers grades of zinc alloys, com-monly known as Continuous Galvanizing Grade (CGG) alloysthat contain aluminum, or aluminum and lead and that are usedin continuous hot-dip galvanizing of steel sheet. The compo-sitions for CGG grades made from primary zinc are shown inTable 1. Exceptions for grade
4、s made from secondary zinc arefound in footnote C.1.2 Other alloy compositions not included in B852, and asmay be agreed upon between the producer and the user, may beused for continuous galvanizing.1.3 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regardedas standard. The values given in parenthe
5、ses are mathematicalconversions to SI units that are provided for information onlyand are not considered standard.1.4 This standard does not purport to address all of thesafety concerns, if any, associated with its use.
