It is published for the needs of the European Aerospace Industry. It has been technically approved by the experts of the concerned Domain following member comments.
6、Subsequent to the publication of this Prestandard, the technical content shall not be changed to an extent that interchangeability is affected, physically or functionally, without re-identification of the standard. After examination and review by users and formal agreement of ASD-STAN, the ASD-STAN
7、prEN will be submitted as a draft European Standard (prEN) to CEN (European Committee for Standardization) for formal vote and transformation to full European Standard (EN). The CEN national members have then to implement the EN at national level by giving the EN the status of a national standard an

ASD-STAN Technical Committee approves that: “This document is published by ASD-STAN for the needs of the European Aerospace Industry. 14、 Scope This standard specifies the characteristics of UV laser printable, silver plated copper conductor electrical cables Crosslinked Ethylene Tetra Fluoro Ethylene co-polymer (XLETFE) family for use in the on-board electrical systems of aircraft operating at temperatures between 65 C and 150 C. Th
15、e voltage rating is 600 V rms at sea level. This insulation system has been used in aerospace applications using 115 V ac (phase-to-neutral) 400 Hz and 28 V dc. Verification of the suitability of cables for use in other electrical systems is the responsibility of the user. These cables are suitable
16、for airframe use. 20、For the purposes of this document, the terms, definitions, symbols and abbreviations given in EN 3475-100 apply. 4 Materials and construction 4.1 Materials Conductor The cable conductors shall be made of silver plated copper according to EN 4611-002 and EN 2083 code B. Insulation first insulator ext
21、ruded XLETFE, coloured blue or a contrasting colour if the second is blue; second insulator extruded XLETFE.
