Scope*1.1 This specification2covers hot- and cold-workedprecipitation-hardenable nickel alloy rod, bar, forgings, andforging stock for moderate or high temperature service (Table1).1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regardedas standard. The values given in parenthe
4、ses are mathematicalconversions to SI units that are provided for information onlyand are not considered standard.1.3 This standard does not purport to address all of thesafety concerns, if any, associated with its use. Terminology3.1 Definitions:3.1.1 bar, nmaterial of rectangular (flats), hexagonal,octagonal, or square solid section in straight lengths.3.1.2 rod, nmaterial of round solid section furnished instra

17、 ofmanufacture, the purchase order must so state indicating whichtests or inspections are to be witnessed (Section 13).5. Chemical Composition5.1 The material shall conform to the requirements as tochemical composition prescribed in Table 1.5.2 If a product (check) analysis is performed by thepurcha
18、ser, the material shall conform to the product (check)analysis variations prescribed in Specification B880.6. Mechanical Properties6.1 Unless otherwise specified, the material shall be sup-plied in the cold worked or solution treated condition, suitablefor subsequent age hardening.6.2 The cold worke
19、d or solution treated material shall becapable of meeting the mechanical property requirements ofTable 3, and the stress rupture requirements of Table 4 (exceptalloys UNS N07022, N09925 and N07725), following theprecipitation hardening treatment described in Table 2.6.3 When the material is to be su
20、pplied in the cold workedor solution treated plus aged condition, the requirements ofTable 3 and Table 4 (except alloys UNS N07022, N09925 andN07725) shall apply, with the precipitation hardening treat-ment of Table 2, or as agreed upon between the purchaser andthe manufacturer as part of the purcha
21、se contract.7.
