7、RK (B-ISDN) AND BROADBAND PRIVATE INTEGRATED SERVICES NETWORK (B-PISN) - CALL CONTROL PROTOCOL Summary This Recommendation specifies a signalling protocol for the purpose of call control at the QB, Sg, TB, and co-incident SB/TB reference points within, between, and at the access to Broadband Private
8、 Integrated Services Networks and within, between, and at the access to Broadband Integrated Services Digital Networks. The protocol operates between two adjacent call control entities. The protocol is applicable to a terminal or network node in a separated call and bearer (connection) control envir
9、onment for the support of calls having none, a single bearer or multiple bearers. The protocol is applicable to a two-party call. The protocol also provides forward compatibility to the extent that an implementation can also operate within a multi-party call with other implementations that use addit
10、ional capabilities, provided the implementation is deployed where it does not need to be aware of more than two parties. The ITU Telecommunication Standardization Sector (ITU-T) is a permanent organ of t
12、he ITU. The ITU-T is responsible for studying technical, operating and tariff questions and issuing Recommendations on them with a View to standardizing telecommunications on a worldwide basis. The World Telecommunication Standardization Conference (WTSC), which meets every four years, establishes t
13、he topics for study by the ITU-T Study Groups which, in their turn, produce Recommendations on these topics. The approval of Recommendations by the Members of the ITU-T is covered by the procedure laid down in WTSC Resolution 1. In some areas of information technology which fall within ITU-Ts purvie
14、w, the necessary standards are prepared on a collaborative basis with IS0 and IEC. NOTE In this Recommendation, the expression “Administration“ is used for conciseness to indicate both a telecommunication administration and a recognized operating agency. “ELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS The IT draws atten
