2、on 43 (Rev.Doha, 2006), which instructs the Director BDT, in close collaborationwith the Director BR, to encourage and assist developing countries to implement IMT-2000systems, to provide assistance on the interpretation of ITU Recommendations relating to IMT-2000and beyond and to support activities

3、 related to ITU-D Q.18-1/2 “Implementation aspects ofIMT-2000 and information sharing on systems beyond IMT-2000 for developing countries;c) Resolution 644 (Rev.WRC-2000) on telecommunication resources for disaster mitigationand relief operations;d) that the Tampere Convention on the provision of te

4、lecommunication resources for disastermitigation and relief operations by the Intergovernmental Conference on EmergencyTelecommunications (ICET-98) came into force on 8 January 2005,decides that the following Questions should be studied1 What are the technical, operational and related procedural asp

5、ects of radiocommunicationsfor disaster warning, mitigation and relief operations?2 What improvements can be made in radiocommunications for disaster warning, mitigationand relief operations?3 What information relating to the above should be reported to a future competent WorldRadiocommunication Con

6、ference?further decides1 that the results of the above studies should be included in one or more Recommendations,Reports or Handbooks;2 that the above studies should be completed by 2010;3 that the above studies should be coordinated with the other two Sectors.Category: S2_* This Question should be brought to the attention of Radiocommunication Study Groups 4 and 9.
